Four day Attar pass top 4700 m and Attar/ Atro Lake 3800 m trekking between Darkot, Yasin and Ishkomen.  Durkot to Ishkoman trekking over Atro pas and Atro lake activity which is considered to be very exciting and adventurous The Mountains of Darkot and Ishkoman echo the sound of music. There is so much of beauty to be found in this paradise. The Attar/ Atro pass are filled with grassy meadows with abundant wildflowers making it a spectacular sight to remember always. The elders of Darkut says The British traveler Mr. Reginsald chales and Frincis Schormberge crossed Attar/ Atro Pass in 1933 (Tour of inspection summer 1933 of Karakoram, Hindu Kush & Pamirs, under control of Gilgit Agency). Attar Lake with the area of 6 square Km and I think the largest lake of Gilgit-Baltistan. Attar/ Atro Lake beautiful view with reflection in the water surrounded by lush greenery and wild flowers. Heart always perks up when I first see Atro Lake.
