PSDF Budget 6 billion for Gilgit-Baltistan.

It will take more than a decade to complete the projects with a budget of 84 billion rupees and the cost of the projects will increase manifold with the passage of time .

“Water for Development” Project launched in Gilgit-Baltistan

The project is being implemented by EvK2CNR, executed by UNDP, and funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS). The project will install hydrological stations to measure water discharge from glaciers, providing valuable data on flood levels and supporting better water resource management in the region. The project’s scope includes the establishment of two new laboratories in Gilgit-Baltistan for phytopathology and zoology, alongside strengthening existing glaciology and water quality laboratories previously set up by EvK2CNR and UNDP with Italian Government support.
